The story
LinearPortal started as an internal tool. We were tired of spinning up new dev environments for every experiment, tired of AI tools that hallucinated dependencies, and tired of "preview" environments that didn't actually run the code.
So we built our own. Each project gets a real container, a real filesystem, and a real AI agent that can actually install packages and run commands — not just write code into a text box.
We opened it up to other developers, and the response was immediate: people wanted isolated, persistent, AI-powered workspaces that just work. So we kept building.
